“NKAME: A Retrospective of Cuban Printmaker Belkis Ayón” has been traveling to various museums in the U.S. It’s been seen at the Fowler Museum at UCLA, Los Angeles, CA; the Museo del Barrio, NYC; Kemper Museum of Contemporary Art, Kansas City, MO.; The Station Museum, Houston, TX;. the Scottsdale Museum of Contemporary Art, Scottsdale, AZ; and will soon travel to Chicago (2020) and Eugene, OR (2021). We are pleased the Tate Modern has acquired three major works by Belkis Ayón for their permanent collection: La cena, Sikan and Mokongo.

Darrel Couturier is leading a trip to Puerto Rico, the Isle of Enchantment, to visit its rich cultural heritage, experience its natural beauty and discover why it's called La Isla del Encanto. This one-week trip will include visiting top artists in their studios, exploring Old San Juan and its rich architectural treasures, an excursion through El Yunque, Puerto Rico's famed rain forest, and a day in Ponce on the island's south coast.
